Simon done a fantastic job of putting our TV up in the new house, making sure the cables were all hidden and actually discussing ideas with us that we wouldn’t have thought about without his professional advice. He even filled holes in the wall to give it a better finish, stopping short of painting the walls!

A very nice person, trustworthy and great value for money!

Simon had already been highly recommended by a friend, so when I decided on a new TV and to upgrade the WiFi system, Simon was the person to contact. During his first visit, he carried out thorough tests & inspected the aerial system, his advice was second to none even down to a recommendation on what TV to bye. I agreed to the estimate which was extremely well priced.
Simon arranged the installation date spending most of the day with us,
making sure all was perfect, Simon is an extremely hard-working, experienced professional engineer, who works to a very standard.
I will be recommending Simon and using him in the future.

Having picked up this name from my local aerial installer because he could not help, Simon came out, knowing what was involved and set about the work methodically and with no delay. The work turned out not to be straightforward but it was sorted and completed professionally with no effort spared in showing how both the new TV and digibox functioned.
I'm no technician but Simon appeared totally in command at all times and left with a job well done and all rubbish, etc. cleared away.
No hesitation in recommending this installer.

Brilliant. Simon certainly knows his profession inside out He knowledge is very sound He had the necessary equipment on board so was able to complete within an hour. From answering my stupid questions before installation to showing me how to use the very impressive software after installation and everything in between, Simon was patient, practical and clearly massively knowledgeable. Also, he takes great pride in his work and that means we’ve ended up with a product which does exactly what we wanted it to do (and more). We can’t recommend Ascent Aerials highly enough and wouldn’t hesitate to use Simon again.

Simon was an absolute godsend. He was punctual, reliable, friendly and professional and he went above and beyond in sorting out the mess of wires and connections that were left by the previous homeowner - I now have a fully functioning TV aerial and no more messy cables. He even fitted my Ring doorbell for me too!

Wow - just amazing knowledge and a real belief that a job should be completed to the best possible standard. Knew and understood Ethernet connections and complex networking setups. Really very impressed I now have fully working Ethernet boxes in two rooms over a long distance with Poe power!

Highly recommended! Can’t recall when I last encountered an engineer this good. Simon is reliable (got back in touch as agreed), accommodating (scheduled a visit on the next day around my availability), patient (waited in his van for 15 mins after completing the job while I went to the ATM), experienced and knowledgeable (knew exactly what to do to identify the problem in just a few minutes), highly professional and polite!

Simon was asked to sort out a problem with the signal from our loft aerial to our Freeview Tv's. He diagnosed a very poor signal to the house and had to fit an external aerial. He was able to demonstrate exactly what the problem was and how to solve it. Both Tv's now have a better signal than previously! Turned up promptly, sorted the problem quickly and efficiently and kept to his original estimate even though the job was more involved and more materials required. Definitely deserves 5 stars, would not hesitate to recommend him.

Simon arrived promptly and quickky assessed what needed to be done. He fitted an aerial to my chimney and ran the cable through into my living room. He explained each step to me and was extremely professional in his approach. After installation Simon showed me how to use the remote correctly in a kind and patient manner. Simon visited my home today (Sunday) he was absolutely brilliant and very reasonable priced. He went the extra mile in all aspects and even came out on a Sunday to do the work; which he doesn't normally do. I found Simon to be exceptionally professional and thourough throughout the whole aerial and tv installation. He explained the whole process and provided me with all information required to run my systems once in place. He was very clean and tidy whilst working in my home. This was a very difficult installation and many other Companies were unwilling to take up this work, but Simon was more than capable and I would certainly have him back any other time. Many thanks Simon..... fantastic job.....

Simon sorted all the problems of a multiple faulty system, quickly and at a very affordable price to include replacement parts. We had previous experience of an aerial expert twice, a few years ago, so it was a delight to see Simon's level of expertise, and the care he took greatly exceeded all expectations. Simon checked the entire system back from TV to aerial so we knew exactly what was faulty and where within a short time.
From the moment we first contacted Simon he communicated quickly and well so we were never left hanging waiting for a response. I have no hesitation in recommending him to others.

Amazing Service!!!

Contacted Simon via email, explaining the issue (bad signal from existing multi-room installation), and received a swift response and appointment confirmation.

Arrived exactly on time, and after a brief explanation of the current setup, quickly set to work identifying the issue (defective amplifier/room splitter).

Within 30 minutes the issue had been resolved (was not expecting it to be fixed the same day!!), full system check, re-scanning of 3 TV's, adjustment of an existing wall mount, assorted tweaks/improvements to the current setup, and suggestions for future possibilities.

Friendly, helpful, open and honest approach. Very competitive price charged for the work. Completely exceeded my expectations, therefore have no hesitation in recommending,

Was a first time customer, Simon came highly recommended from a friend. Simon installed a TV onto our wall in the bedroom and hid the Sky box in the loft as well as ensuring all TV points in every room was working. Was shocked and pleased when Simon covered his feet as he came into our property. Simons work is fast, efficient and very clean, pricing was set out from the he initial call and do not change at the end.

Simon is a credit to his profession and is a rare breed. Recommended him to numerous people.

Ascent Aerials were recommended to me recently so I called them to investigate why I wasn't receiving a TV signal in our home which we have recently moved into. I could see an aerial on the roof and wiring and aerial points in the rooms but no signal !!. Simon came over to us (Epping Green, Hertford) this morning and I can honestly say he reviewed what we had and quickly worked out what the problem was. I was expecting the usual "you will need a new aerial" speech but Simon explained that although the aerial was old it was working fine. He went on to resolve the existing problems, provide a new aerial point, hang a tv & make sure they were all tuned in to Freeview & Sky. His bill was more than reasonable and I would gladly recommend him to anyone with similar problems.

Simon organized the correct installation of our Sonos bar under our new tv. I sent him photos of the TV set up and he ordered the correct equipment to mount the Sonos bar. He also tidied up all the cables that the TV installer had failed to do,

Simon came all the way from Harlow down to Croydon to fit an aerial spur and pop a TV on the wall. Couldn't be happier with the results. The work was done quickly and with literally no mess at all. Would definitely recommend Ascent to anyone who needs AV work.

I would highly recommend Simon. My initial email enquiry was answered very quickly and followed up with a call to talk through my requirements in more detail. A date was booked and Simon arrived on time and got on with the job. More work was needed then anticipated which wasn’t a problem and every part of the job was explained in detail. Overall, Simon is a very knowledgeable and efficient engineer that charges very affordable prices. 15-12-15

An excellent and proffesional service at an afordable price. Right from my initial telephone enquiery Simon was very helpful with advice and guidance for me as i wanted to switch from Virgin Cable to BT with an ariel.On the day of instalation Simon delivered as prommised and also advised the BT fitter to get the best for my system without the need for re-decoration. Simon is true gentleman, he just happened to be in the area when i called him to fix my poor signal on my sky dish. He provided me with an alternative fix which was a better idea and now my sky problems are a problem in the past. I can now close this chapter and just enjoy. thanks Simon!

I'm a repeat customer of Ascent Aerials. Today he was fitting an aerial and moving the TV and phone line so I could change my TV/broadband/phone package and make the whole physical setup of the devices work better for me. I'm delighted with the outcome.

We have had nothing but issues with our TV set up and our Sky signal for a few years now - Simon has come in understood the original set up, striped back all of the TV set up's, only replaced what needed to be replaced and left us with great pictures and sky that is working!! Also added to this piece of mind with guarantees on the set up and other kit. I found Simon very customer centric, clean, quick and very knowledgeable of his trade. I would not hesitate in recommending Simon to any of my family and friends - great job.

brilliant service. Quoted £140 for a new aerial on the phone, but only charged me £20 when it became clear my existing aerial only needed one small part changing to become servicable again. So rare to find a trustworthy tradesman.

Simon was a recommendation from a friend, and it was well deserved!
Very quick to respond and great communication.
Good price, and it was a final quote upfront - no hidden charges

He's done a beautiful job with the wiring, extremely neat and discreet (Simon even got rid of an old, unused satellite dish for us for free! There was even an unruly cable that he rewired for us just so we could be sure all the cables were tidied away)

After the new aerial was installed, he also re-scanned all the channels on the tv so we could see that we've now got brilliant TV reception.

Highly recommended, couldn't be happier with the service.

We had a Smart TV installed in our kitchen/snug area.

Simon listened well to our brief discussing all the stages along the way.

We have been very pleased with the result and the workmanship.

No wires, clean and professional.

Simon supported us with types of TV's and different options in mounting on the wall.

Response to emails has been quick and efficient.

Giving a years guarantee on the work has meant that we have had a broken infa red device replaced without cost and within 24 hours of us contacting them.

I would use Ascent Aerials again, and would recommend them.

Simon from Ascent Aerials came to my home in Hertford to see it I could have Freeview from my old aerial. He got it going with the old aerial but had to come the next day as the picture was breaking down.
He then put a new aerial up for me but would not charge anymore, as he said I had a 12 month guarantee.

I would recommend this company to anybody, the service was very good and Simon very polite and professional,

I Rang the company this morning and the job was done before lunchtime! Can't get a faster service than that (took about an hour).

The installer clearly knows his job.
The installation was very neat.
He made sure that the service was working fully and he tidied up afterwards.
He even tweaked my telly so that the picture quality was tip top.

All for £99.

I would recommend this company to anybody looking to move from a paid TV service to a free one.

Simon from Ascent Aerials came to fix my TV aerial (rooftop model which had suffered greatly during the recent storms.) He gave me excellent advice and recomended a loft aerial at a very good price which saved me a lot of money and would not be damaged in future storms.. Very professional and polite service, I can highly recommend Ascent Aerials, took time to explain what I needed and more important what I didn't need. I had quotes from other companies before Ascent Aerials but Ascent Aerials supplied and fitted better quality Aerial and parts for the job and were the cheapest of all the quotes I had, they spent a lot of time checking signal strength and retuning all of my TV's, they explained my very complicated coaxial runs which they tested and repaired at no extra cost. Customer service was the best I have experienced in a long time. Thank you very much Ascent Aerials 10/10.

Simon from Ascent Aerials has recently wall mounted a television in my home garden office. In addition he provided and fitted both cabling and infra red remote control to allow me to access my full tv services. The service provided was exceptional and the quality of finish in excess of what I had expected. Simon did a fantastic job at a very reasonable price, fixing additional cables to my Freesat aerial. I would recommend him to anyone looking for this kind of work.

Did some work for me recently, and was very professional.
Talked me out of getting a loft-box, which he could have easily have sold me, by telling me that the aerial was good enough to feed all the bedrooms with a passive splitter. As honest as the day is long.
Well pleased with his workmanship as well.
Will use him again, without hesitation.

I was having a problem with the satellite signal with my Sky Plus box. Simon turned up as promised and on time, replaced the satellite dish and fixed the issue with no fuss. He even took the time to improve the settings on my television set so not only is the signal fixed, the picture quality is better than ever. He was completely honest and reliable and the service was excellent value for money. Couldn't recommend him highly enough.

Came out and fitted an aerial to our property and made the children very happy by cabling all their bedrooms too.

When we referred Simon to our father, Simon told us Dad qualified for a free aerial from the government and suggested we contact the Digital Switchover people.

If only all tradesmen were so honest!
